Actor Richard Gere personally introduced his photography show -- "Pilgrim" -- at the Seoul Arts Center this week.
Gere?s exhibition is an extensive collection of more than 60 exquisitely rendered black and white photographs. The 61-year-old actor says they document a vision of his Tibetan experiences.
?I think it is impossible to look at these photographs and not realize the extraordinary suffering of the Tibetan people,? said Gere.
Exhibition organizers at the Seoul Arts Center strongly discouraged political questions from the press on Wednesday. They said Gere was angered by the way that he and his family had been mobbed and hounded in Seoul about sensitive political subjects.
