"Red Eagle" and "Sky Wing" amaze spectators with stunning spins, flips and dives
China's two new dedicated aerobatics teams -- "Red Eagle" (??, aka "Red Falcon") and "Sky Wing" (???) -- took to the sky in their first official demonstration at the aerospace open day above Changchun's Da Fang Shen Airport yesterday.
"Red Eagle" flew K-8 training aircraft while "Sky Wing" pilots put PT-6 primary trainers through their daring paces.
Established in March 2011, these are the first aerobatic teams to be set up in China since 1962 when the Ba Yi demonstration team took wing.
