Though its magazines are banned in the country, Playboy will open its first Playboy Club in India, in the beach side city of Goa.
But the iconic bunnies won't be as revealing as they are in other clubs.
To satisfy the country?s obscenity laws, Indian company PB Lifestyle, who will operate the brand?s franchise in India, says the traditional revealing bunny outfit with bodices, bow ties, bunny ears and bunny tails will be tamed.
"We are clear about one thing: There will absolutely be no nudity. The bunnies will be suited to Indian sensibilities and moral values," says Sanjay Gupta, CEO of PB Lifestyle, in a local India Times report.
